When you decide to start dating on the internet you should be wary of who you chat too as there are a lot of strange people out there but a lot of good ones too. This is not only for women but can apply to men too. This article will hopefully give you a few online dating tips before you place your personal ad online.
Tip 1: Do not make your mobile number and email address publicly viewable as anyone that browses your personals page can contact you if they fancy you.
Tip 2: Find out as much information about your potential date before you meet offline for your first date. Make sure you have a number of good chats so you can get a feel for what the person is like, of course they could be lying but you can still get a feel for what kind of personality they have.
Tip 3: Make your first date in a public place like a restaurant or cafe on a busy street in the day time. If you don't feel comfortable with the person then you can make a quick get away from any danger at the end of your date. If you like your date then make the next one perhaps at evening time in more romantic place.
Tip 4: Don't get to drunk as you might not be able to avoid a dangerous situation, as well as this being very drunk won't give you a good idea on what your date's personality is really like, you will feel comfortable because of the alcohol not because of your date.
Tip 5: You should go on at least 3 dates to actually get to know the person better. Even going out with your friends on an occasion can be great as they can give you their view on what your potential partner is like and whether they think he or she will be a good match for you.
